Here's a
PAIR of vintage J.C.HIGGINS (Sears Roebuck) CAST IRON DUMBBELLS.
Total of 12 weight plates. Plates are cast iron with a cool "locking" design. Fully loaded with all plates, plus bar, collar, and sleeve, each dumbbell can weigh close to 37 1/2 lbs. Here's a complete list of what's included in this listing (with individual weight totals):
10 lb. weight plates x 4 = 40 lbs.
5 lb. weight plates x 4 = 20 lbs.
1 1/4 lb. weight plates x 4 = 5 lbs.
14" x 1" bar x 2 (3 lbs. 1.4 oz. each) = 6 lbs. 2.8 oz
Chrome sleeves x 2 (3.2 oz. each) = 6.4 oz.
