    Description

Set of six American coin silver dessert spoons in the fiddle with fin pattern, and hand engraved in script on the handle face end "CCH".  The set weighs 6.26 troy ounces, and the spoons measure 7 inches long and 1 1/2 inches across the bowl.  Marked on the back of the handle "W. Brown" for William Brown who worked in Baltimore, Maryland c.1810-1852, and two handles are marked "10-15" for Baltimore's standard for coin silver.  There are tiny nicks, scratches and slightly matted surface overall, several longer deeper scratches on the tip of one bowl (see photo), some scattered pin point dings, and tiny black tarnish spots on both sides of the bowls, otherwise in fine antique condition.
